Welcome to George Loves Weather! If you are like me, you also have an avid interest in weather, or maybe you have a passion for weather observation, then you have arrived at the home of great informative weather equipment reviews.
You probably also have more than a casual relationship with the weather and its daily effects on happenings in our world.
With this type of interest usually comes the study of past weather trends, records, and major weather events in history. I also have a (what others call)strange thing for weird weather facts. What do I mean by this? Well, I have knowledge of special weather facts from earlier in my life, that will help me, predict some future metrics or patterns for today’s weather.
As an example, the current winter we are experiencing here in New York State, we have been through before. Believe it or not, it is predictable. El Nino is currently dumping many inches of rain a day on Western US states which usually don’t experience anything close to the strong winds, violent rainstorms, and sometimes in higher elevations, one to two feet of snow, snowstorms.
But when I learned of the prediction of weather for the Western US for this winter, I knew that our winter was not going to be a normal NY winter.

What Can You Expect To Find Here?
I plan on providing you, unbiased reviews of weather stations, and also weather accessories, and specialty equipment to enhance your weather observations. I know when I do research, often I need to go from site to site and spend many hours of time to get the information I need.
Let me do the research for you. Then you can find everything you need to add to your weather knowledge and knowledge of weather equipment so that you can make good solid, research-based decisions on equipment purchases.
What Is My Background?
What do I bring to the table? I have been watching the weather closely for over fifty years now. I also studied Geography and how Geography affects weather conditions dramatically in many places, not only here in the USA, but in many countries of the world.
I took courses in College, on North American Geography, South American Geography, and World Climates. I graduated with a major in Geography. I studied Cartography as well, and the importance of keeping detailed records of all-weather measurements.
Last but not least I bring my passion for weather to this project of mine, which I hope you enjoy and will make much use of.
Enjoy Today’s Weather, It’s the only weather you get today.
We have a saying in my area of New York State, that if you are unhappy with today’s weather just wait a few hours and it will change for you to do something different.
George is a big fan of the weather. He has enjoyed for years observing all types of weather in several places he has lived. He shares his love by doing reviews of personal weather stations and discussing several key elements that are related to using weather stations.
